This comes after Netflix reveal That period drama, which debuted on December 25, was on its way to being watched by 63 million households over its first 28 days – making it the fifth-largest release of the original series.
The show follows eight close-knit siblings of the Bridgerton family who search for love and happiness in London’s high society.

Starring Phoebe Denifor as Daphne Bridgerton and Reg Jane Page as Duke of Hastings Simon Bassett, the series is based on Julia Quinn’s novels set in the world of Regency London.
There are eight books in the Quinn series, and author and director Chris Van Dawson has said that while the first season was primarily about Duffy’s love story with Simon, he would like to tell stories to all of the Bridgerton siblings – including four sons Anthony, Benedict, Colin and Gregory. And three other daughters, Eloise, Francesca, and Jasenthe. Van Dawson said he would like eight seasons to continue to be successful.
The second season, if it follows the course of the books, is expected to follow Anthony Bridgerton, played by Jonathan Bailey. Book Two – Viscount who loved me Focus on his story.
There are also tons of loose endings to tie in from the first season after [SPOILER] Penelope Veatherington, played before Dairy Girls Nicola Coughlan, revealed to be the writer of shady chatter column Lady Wesleydon, and Portia Fetherington discovered Polly Walker from inheriting her late husband’s legacy.
