between One guy punchAnd the Baseball manAnd multiple gestures to famous fairy franchises, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla It is basically a Metropolitan Museum of Easter eggs. But the best surprise – or at least the one that is sure to please fans of the series the most – doesn’t appear until late in the game.
Spoilers follow for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Once you settle in Ravensthorpe, close to 10 hours of game time, you’ll be able to develop a whole host of new buildings. Creating the Hidden Ones Bureau will give Haitham, the young Invisible, a stylish new office. Since this is a video game, it will reward you with a mission: track down six manuscript pages, located in several Hidden Ones offices in England that have been decommissioned. As the name suggests, these offices are all off the right track. But finding them is worth the effort, because doing so will result in an Easter egg starring Baek Siwa, the player’s character. Assassin’s Creed’s origins.
Each Hidden Ones Bureau office features a mix of platform and environmental puzzles. A combustible power, such as an incendiary powder trap, can help remove any stone barriers, but it is not necessary. There is always a container of flammable oil nearby, and a convenient track allows you to transfer it to the bulkhead without problem. (Whether or not you set yourself on fire while detonating the barricade is another matter.)
In other words, once you find the Hidden Object Office, you likely have the means to complete it. Located in:
- Leicester, in the northeastern part of town
- Lunden, just outside the east wall
- Colchester, next to the south walls
- Jorvik, near the theater in the southwest
- Amidst a forest in the middle of freakin ‘anywhere in southwestern Glowecestrescire
- Wincestre, on the west side, just south of Saint Peter’s Basilica
Once you finish gathering the six manuscript pages, go back to Ravensthrope and talk to Hytham. He’ll give some nice thanks – frankly offending a task that could last the duration of the sprawling role-playing game – and mention that Reza, the black market merchandise seller, has an old piece of writing. This is where things get real.
When you ask Rida about the script, he replies bluntly: “Oh, that old clip? Yes, it’s just a short message from one hidden person to another.”
Press him about how to get his hands on him, and he will say, “A friend gave it to me to save it. Pike was his name. An Egyptian colleague. Very cute.” (One wonders how old Reza is. Pike’s exploits occurred largely during the Ptolemaic period, more than two thousand years ago, while Valhalla Set in the late 1980’s.)
After your conversation with Reza, he will pull the curtain to the left side of his tent, and reveal a platform with a letter on it. Whoever played Assassin’s Creed’s origins He will instantly recognize it as a love letter that Pike wrote to his wife Aya. Neither of them is mentioned by name, but the clues – it is written on papyrus; It mentions several members of the Egyptian pantheon; It discusses nascent beginnings, the origins, if you will, of the hidden elements – a dead collective gift. And it’s not just a fraction of the text inside the game. It was read aloud by Abu Bakr Salim |, The performer behind Bayek.
Oh, yeah, and you’ll get some cute and stylish armor (the aptly named Hidden Ones set) to hit every Hidden Ones office. With 2 pieces equipped, you’ll get an assassination damage boost, provided you stay in hiding for 10 seconds or more. Prepare all 5 pieces, and they will remove headshot damage. The gear is aligned with the Raven skill tree, so you’ll see more base rewards if you invest heavily in those nodes. There’s also a dagger – Suttungr’s wolf’s claw – which increases heavy damage with every stroke.
It’s good gear, but the Easter egg is the real prize. to me Our methodology is very scientificAnd the Assassin’s Creed’s origins He is the best Doctrine killer Game. Speaking personally, it’s my favorite game in the series – reimagining what Doctrine killer It could be that it doesn’t shirk the basics, all wrapped up in a sentimental storyline starring some of the most powerful characters since Ezio’s trilogy adventure. Hearing Pike’s voice was transmissible instantly. Who knew that the Library of Alexandria was just a stone’s throw away from the cobbled back streets of ancient Londonium?
